visual studio 2010 - Unable to create Event Handler WPF -

i unable create event handler when double click on button or messagebox appears enter image description here

how ever when add event handler manually works.any idea might have screwed thanks

the class in question "mainwindow" class within mainwindow.xaml.cs file. make sure it's first class in code behind file.

i suspect added type file, , defined @ top. "break" designer, , give error message.
