ajax.net - Update one updatePanel without Updating the other? -

i have 2 updatepanels, each label , button. want click on button 1 , updates label 2, without updating/refreshing updatepanel 1 @ all. doable? because button 1 in updatepanel 1, updatepanel seems refresh. thank you.
